The Government Digital Service is offering up to £90,000 for a senior manager to ensure that the “government’s transformation remains safe and secure”.

The post will involve cybersecurity and anti-fraud measures, and advice, and best-practice structures in a manner that ensures secure transformation. Such changes will then be integrated into the GDS Service Manual, Digital Service Standard, and the Technology Code of Practice.

“This is a unique and exciting chance to shape and secure the future of government transformation, the job advert said. “We value your expertise in bringing and adapting robust security practices to a modern digital and agile business.”

The chosen candidate will report to GDS’s head of security. Applications are open until 22 July, with interviews scheduled to commence on 30 July.
