A recruitment company has revealed plans to create 25 jobs at its Nottingham headquarters as it marks 30 years in business.
Thorn Baker Group now manages the recruitment needs of companies across the UK, placing over 30,000 candidates in jobs each year.
The company has also made a «significant investment» in the business and launched a re-rebrand, website and group structure.
Chief executive Paul Jackman said: «Anniversaries always prompt people to reflect on their progress and analyse where they see themselves in the future, as we have now done with the company.
«We wanted to be fit for the future and to provide an improved service to our candidates and clients.»
The company has moved from a multi-sector recruitment company with divisions to a group with three distinct brands within it, each responsible for its three core markets — Thorn Baker Construction, Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment and Thorn Baker Estates, Facilities and Maintenance.
Jackman added: «Creating three specialist brands will help us to deliver a more tailored and effective service.
«By developing staff as experts in their defined sector, their knowledge of the market, its associated businesses and its candidates, will ensure that clients are receiving in-depth and targeted support to meet their recruitment needs.
«This expertise will also benefit candidates as our focused recruitment will help to ensure a good match with a future employer so they’ll come to us knowing that we will secure them a position for which they are best suited.»
In its latest published accounts, for the year to 30 April 2017, the company reported a turnover of £25.9m and pre-tax profits of £130,510.
